SIROVISION OPEN PIT SYSTEM
Where any rock wall in any open pit mine can be photographed with an off-the-shelf digital camera, Sirovision™ can deliver highly accurate 3D imagery and instant geotechnical measurements.
Here are some other reasons Sirovision is useful to any open pit operation in the world.
LOW IMPLEMENTATION COSTS
Uses off the shelf digital SLR cameras and fixed focal length lenses.
Typically produces accuracy of 1:3000 to 1:5000 ~ 3cm to 5cm for every 100 meters distance to the rock face. It produces orientation measurements with an angular accuracy of +/- 0.5 º or better over ranges from 3m to 1500m.
FULLY INTEGRATED SOLUTION
As well as producing 3D images, it allows structural mapping producing highly accurate and instantaneous geotechnical results.
Personnel do not have to approach the rock face. The WHOLE face can be photographed and mapped from a distance. Pit walls can be photographed up to 1500 meters away.
Photographs can be taken easily and rapidly. Different focal length lenses can be used from same positions giving great flexibility in level of detail.
3D topographical images and structural data can be easily imported into other major mining software such as STUDIO, Vulcan, Surpac, Dips & Minesight.
Sirovision is used in open pit operations across five continents by the worlds largest mining companies.
EASY TO USE
